Our History

Rio Clays is a minerals solutions company located in India. We utilise nature’s raw materials to provide solutions for various industries. From drinking water filtration to solar technology, every day our minerals play an important part in the progress of society.

Rio Clays was founded in 1983, initially supplying bauxite and kaolin to various Indian manufacturers.. Today, Rio Clays is operating various production sites and supplying  more than 20 countries across the globe.

We’ve been always striving to provide the best range of products to the market. Mineral industry is vast, with abundance of requirements throughout various channels of sectors.

Right from sanitary ware to cosmetics, we wanted to emerge as a supplier of untouched range of pure non-metallic mineral solution. Now that we are equipped and blessed with resources, right from human resources to machinery and mineral plants, we can say this rightfully. The market is surely vague, but our solutions are not.

Even after being an industrial body, we do care for climate change as well. And hence, to give back to the nature, is our main missionary statement.
